Anthropologie Inspired Planters | Luxury Home Decoration 2019

I have been eyeing Anthropologie mugs since long and to make my desire even stronger Anthropologie recently launched an enticing collection of Leta, Concha and many other garden planters. The moment my eyes set on those beautiful, vibrant planters, I wanted to recreate the look. 

Let me first show you how beautiful these pots and planters are. Below are the range of Concha garden pots. Ain't they beautiful beyond words. The patterns and colours of these planters are so interesting.

And look at these Leta Garden pots in below image. They are just gorgeous and can easily liven up any dull and boring space.

I have been hoarding some clay pots and broken bowls in a hope that some day I'll put them to a good use.

And here is my humble attempt to recreate the Anthropologie inspired look. I liked the colours and patterns so much that I didn't add anything from my side (except a few). 

The bowls have four sides and I painted each side with a different pattern. Do you see, I painted my logo too :)

I planted the plants that were already flourishing and multiplying in my garden. Here are some more images from different angles.

Decorating With Bougainvillea Flowers | Luxury Home Decoration 2019

There was a time when I hated bougainvillea to an extent that I didn't even want to look at it but lately my likes and dislikes have changed drastically. And now my love for bougainvillea is growing by leaps and bounds. Now whenever I see bougainvillea around I feel drawn toward the beauty of it. The striking bright colours of its bloom never fail to attract my attention. 

Let me share an incident with you all, as you all have been so loyal that I can now share my secrets with you :)
On my way to drop my son to his school I spotted a very beautiful flame red bougainvillea in full bloom alongside the railway track. And would you believe I have been eyeing this beauty for past few months but didn't have the courage to pluck such lovely blooms. Moreover, every time I planned to pluck the flowers my mind reminded me of one of the quotes that my mother sends us every morning sometimes to boost our morale and sometimes to instill good values in us.

The quote goes like this:

What is the difference between

'I like you' and 'I love you'. 

Beautifully answered by Buddha:

"When you like a flower, you pluck it but when you love a flower, you water it daily"

One who understands this understands life!! 

Now tell me who on the earth will go against such a beautiful quote and pluck the flower.

But pardon me, I have done this not because I like bougainvillea but because I love it. The place where it was growing is not good, lots of filth around and heavy vehicles parked there crush and smash most of its branches. So one day I mustered courage and cut some branches to grow it in my balcony garden. 

Now that's a better idea, isn't it? I not only got beautiful bougainvillea flowers to style my coffee table but also an older branch to grow one more bougainvillea plant. 

Styling coffee table with flowers isn't a big deal. You need to be little innovative and can turn any mundane object into a vase, place some coffee table books and some more tiny plants or succulents in some unusual planter like conch/shell and your coffee table styling is done.

Complement the colour of flowers by tossing a cushion in same shade for a pulled together or cohesive look. 

You can't learn home decorating by reading books or taking classes instead trial and error method is what works best here. Slowly you will learn the tricks of the trade. 

Keep rotating stuff to freshen up the look and feel of the place.

My Steaming Cups Of Tea | Luxury Home Decoration 2019

Tea for me is what colours must have been for Van Gogh, Sufism must have been for Rumi and 

philosophy must have been for Vivekananda. Tea is me!!

Whether I am happy or sad, cold or heated, I just want that warm hug in a mug and I feel rejuvenated.

If you are cold, tea will warm you;

If you are heated, it will cool you;

If you are depressed, it will cheer you;

If you are excited, it will calm you. 

More than tea I love to watch steam coming out from the mug. Like every time you brew tea, it tastes different, in the same way, the patterns created by steam coming out from mug are always different and so intriguing.

I just love to watch how one pattern appears, rises high and then disappears in the air in a matter of seconds. It seems like Dervish clad in a white attire is performing a Sufi dance. 

There is something in the nature of tea that leads us into a world of quiet contemplation.

Each cup of tea represents an imaginary voyage. Tea is the magic

 key to the vault where my brain is kept. 

The 'art of tea' is a spiritual force for us to share. Tea is a religion of the art fo life.

There are some days when all you need are books and tea.

A cup of tea makes everything better and when it is accompanied by my favorite breakfast Poha, then it is even better. 

Remember the tea kettle, it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings.

Life is like a cup of tea, it's all in how you make it.

Sometimes I get sad. But then I think about tea and everything is fine.

A cup of tea is like having a bath on the inside.

Where there is tea, there is love.

Enjoy your experience of a distinctive taste, personality and place in every cuppa.

You can't buy happiness but you can brew a cup of tea and that's kind of the same thing.

Tea is a liquid wisdom, there is always time for tea.

A cup of tea is an excuse to share great thoughts with great minds.

If tea can't fix it, it is a serious problem.
